The MSV International Engineering Fair is the most important industrial trade fair in Central Europe. Most of the visitors are professionals and eighty per cent of them are decision-makers with regard to investments. One third of them belong to top management.

All key sectors of the mechanical and electrical engineering industry are represented. Machining and forming is traditionally the key sector.

The main topic of the MSV is Industry 4.0 and the digital factory, i.e. the digitalisation of production, one of the main directions of the innovation process. Another important topic is the circular economy - the use of material resources. This is one of the priority areas for sustainable development.
