Dr. Martin Fabian remains chairman of the Masterbatch Association

On 22 November 2019, Dr. Martin Fabian, managing director at Lifocolor, was elected chairman of the Masterbatch Association for a further two years.

The Masterbatch Association (based in Frankfurt am Main), founded in 1998, is a specialist department of the "Verband der Mineralfarbenindustrie" (VdMi) and currently has 21 members. The Association represents the interests of German manufacturers of colour and additive masterbatches and provides member companies with targeted information on current developments in relevant legislation. Industry-specific topics, which include technical and ecological issues, are discussed in the various committees.

Lifocolor Colours GmbH & Co. KG is one of the founding members of VdMi and officially joined the Masterbatch Association on 1.8.1998. Lifocolor has played an active role in the association's work since its founding. The then managing director, Hans-Joachim Melerowicz, was appointed first chairman of the "Technical Commission of the Masterbatch Association". Since 22.11.2013, Dr. Martin Fabian has been the chairman of the Masterbatch Association.

This membership enables Lifocolor to inform its customers about relevant legal changes promptly and quickly.
