Our Lifocolor site in Poland was listed in the Business Gazelles 2021 ranking. This has been published by the business newspaper Puls Biznesu since 2000. Lifocolor sarl, manufacturer of colour masterbatches and additives for the plastics industry and French subsidiary of the German Lifocolor Group with headquarters in Lichtenfels, relocated its headquarters from Bellignat to the newly built plant in Izernore in autumn 2019.

With Lifoslip D 20/112 PP, Lifocolor Farben offers a newly developed anti-scratch additive in its lubricant range. It not only strengthens the scratch resistance of the polymer, but additionally prevents the build-up of a white film that can form after using standard anti-scratch additives and which is especially noticeable on dark surfaces.

A successful year

As part of the modernisation and expansion programme for Lifocolor colours in Germany, work has begun on the Straufhain (Thuringia) site. A 2,500 m² warehouse and logistics building is being constructed adjacent to the existing building.

Lichtenfels/Germany, July 18, 2019 - Thermoplastic masterbatch manufacturer, Lifocolor Farben GmbH & Co. KG (96215 Lichtenfels, www.lifocolor.de) is investing EUR 20 million in the expansion of its parent plant in Lichtenfels. Ground was broken in July 2019 and the planned construction schedule is 18 months.
