EcoVadis Bronze Medal
We received our first EcoVadis medal
EcoVadis is one of the world's leading providers of sustainability assessments and has a network of over 130,000 assessed companies. The EcoVadis sustainability assessment methodology is at the centre of the assessments with scorecards that show how well a company has integrated the principles of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) into its business and management system. This methodology is based on international sustainability standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and the ISO 26000 standard and covers over 220 topic categories and more than 180 countries.
In 2024, EcoVadis fundamentally changed its assessment scheme and significantly adjusted its assessment standards. Only 35 per cent of the companies that undergo the demanding assessment now receive recognition in the form of a medal. We are therefore delighted that Lifocolor Farben GmbH made it into this top 35 per cent right from the first assessment.
With the bronze medal, Lifocolor is above the industry average in all four categories - environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
For us, this award is both recognition and an incentive for our further development in the area of sustainability.
