Diverse Colour Sampling Options for Masterbatch

That’s why Lifocolor offers a broad spectrum of sampling variants to present hues in realistic illustrative formats - tailored to your application, market and customer requirements.
Whether you’re dealing with thin-walled materials, textured surfaces or complex geometries, we collaborate with you to choose the optimal sample form for an authentic display of colour, gloss level and surface effect. This ensures that during development you can confirm the chosen shade will deliver the desired result in its final application.
Consistent Standards — and Location-Specific Capabilities
Many of our locations offer a variety of sample shapes, both identical and different, to ensure consistent colour representation. Our most popular sampling options in Germany are among others:
- 2D diamond: ideal for quick colour assessments on flat surfaces with different gradations to illustrate different wall thicknesses and to show matt and glossy surfaces
- 3D diamond: for displaying light and shadow effects on convex and concave geometries with different gradations to illustrate different wall thicknesses and matt and glossy surfaces
- 3D hemisphere: perfect for assessing reflections and depth effects, as well as for displaying colours over larger areas with challenging geometries
- Bottles: realistic sampling for packaging of cosmetics, food or beverages, for example
- Caps: practical for closures, caps, lids or other dosing systems
- Rectangle 2 mm: for thin-walled, flat applications, panels and ideal for displaying laser markings
- Flat films (3-layer aba): ideal for film applications, film coatings, packaging and very thin panels
Each of our locations has a range of samples tailored to the needs of its market. For example: The PET bottles produced by our stretch blow moulding plant in France are particularly well-suited to sampling beverage and cosmetics packaging made from polyester materials in transparent colours.
