In order to produce solutions of the same quality across Europe, the Lifocolor Group works with standardised primary products based on powder or granulates.

In case of high quality requirements, pre-dispersed intermediates are used across the group. This allows all Lifocolor plants to manufacture products at the same high quality level as in the main plant in Lichtenfels. Our customers receive the same quality standard across Europe.

Details of the Plants:

• Lifocolor was founded in 1988 in Lichtenfels, Bavaria (Germany).
• The German plants are located in Lichtenfels/Baveria (HQ) and Straufhain-Adelhausen/Thuringia.
• 180 people employed on both sites in Germany.
• The company is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 50001:2018 certified.
• Lifocolor Germany produces on 22 production lines.
• The annual capacity for the production of masterbatches amounts 6,500 t.
• Lifocolor has 16 development lines as well as extensive equipment for analysis, colour measurement and material testing in its laboratories and in the technical center.
• For our customers we develop 4,000 colour reproductions per year.

The plants in Germany market and supply the countries of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, BeNeLux, Ireland, Great Britain and Scandinavia as well as the export business outside Europe.
