Our world is a treasure trove full of wonders whose uniqueness and diversity have fascinated us since the dawn of time. These treasures are not just the material riches of bygone eras created by human hands, but what powerful forces of nature have shaped over thousands of years. We encounter some of them every day, so often that we hardly notice them. Others have been painstakingly unearthed, only to be integrated almost invisibly into everyday items. Under the motto “Treasures of our planet - treat them like a gift”, we not only want to offer a new perspective on these special treasures, but also create a connection to contemporary values: to the care we show our earth, to the appreciation our vital resources deserve and to the awareness that everything is connected.

The theme of this year's Colour Road "Treasures of our planet" can be summarised in three topics:

• Our expedition begins with the “Precious Minerals” - those important minerals, rare earths and special elements that are hidden in the deepest layers of the Earth.
• Above ground, we are impressed by “Unique Landscapes” - not only as magnificent backdrops and inspirations for the arts, but also as diverse habitats for a wide variety of vegetation and wildlife.
• Above these landscapes, the “Limitless Atmosphere” offers its own amazing spectacle in the form of celestial phenomena - from delicate haze to colourful flashes of lightning.
